FAQ from Parents: What is there for Parents?

We love students but we equally love Parents and desire to do anything we can to support them and equip them to be the parents that God has called them to be.

We have a common saying around Dayspring Student Ministry: "THINK ORANGE!" What this means is if the Church is Yellow representing the Light that God has called her to be and if Parents are Red representing the unconditional Love they have for their children then we want to create a strategic Partnership between Parents and Student Ministry Staff So that we all glow a warm Orange - working together for the cause of our students.

We have started this strategic partnership through:

ORANGE Slice - This is a monthly publication put together specifically for parents with information from the web on parenting or teen culture along with reminders of upcoming experiences for students.

ORANGE Table - We have a table in the lobby of the church that provides sign ups for experiences, information on upcoming experiences, EQUIP and other important information for parents and students.

ORANGE Gathering - This is a Bi-monthly meeting for parents to inform them of upcoming experiences, what their child is being taught, answer an questions for new parents, to give all parents an opportunity to come together and connect as parents, to give support, express love and pray for each other.

We are continuing to develop this area and know that there is still much work to be done. We are specifically looking for a parent or couple of parents for leadership in this ministry. If you are interested in being involved please contact Chad @ 260.925.4599 or chadc@dayspringchurch.com.
